CC (under the legal name Cortijo Guadiana) is a leading group in the production and marketing of top-quality products in the Extra Virgin Olive Oil industry, combining traditional and avant-garde concepts. It has a firm commitment to R&D&I in collaboration with universities, training centres, and Institutions, with the goal of generating new knowledge that allows improvements in areas such as precision agriculture, regenerative agriculture, management of limited resources (water and nutrients) and climate change mitigation through the valuation of by-products. 

CC participated in several financed projects, associated to the synthesis of healthy compounds in the olive grove (TerraAcqua) and to olive orchard fertilisation based on the circular economy. CC also participated in EU’s LIFE programme: “Design and certification of olive groves reconciled with biodiversity” (Olivares Vivos) and “Advanced technologies to stimulate Precision and Regenerative Agriculture”, among others.
