PV is a company specialised in the production of lettuce, melon, and watermelon with national and international reputation. Having started his activity as a Young Agricultural Entrepreneur (1989) in a small farm (1,100 m² of greenhouses) with horticultural crops, Mr. Luís Manuel Salmim Correia, now established PV to produce lettuce, melon and watermelon in 250 hectares.

To be at the forefront of an increasingly competitive market, several investments were made in an automation project and robotization of the company’s production as well as an increase in storage capacity, and in the placement of a system climate control of the entire unit, from cold rooms to the collection/production and dispatch warehouses, never breaking the cold chain, which is essential for preserving the quality of the fruit.
